In Soul Land (斗罗大陆 Douluo Dalu) a soul master’s strength is measured in soul power levels from 1 to 100. Every ten levels brings a new title, and to cross each threshold a soul master must gain one more soul ring. The same system carries into Soul Land 2: The Peerless Tang Clan, the series Huo Yuhao leads.

Soul Scholars (levels 1–10) have no soul ring yet. At level 11, with the first ring, they become Soul Masters – and from then on, every ten levels requires another ring, until Titled Douluo with nine.
Titled Douluo and Super Douluo
From level 91 a soul master receives a personal title, such as Tang Hao’s Clear Sky Douluo or the Sword Douluo of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. Those at level 95 or above are called Super Douluo. Level 99 is the human limit.
The path to godhood
To go beyond level 99 and become a god, a soul master must be chosen as the heir of a god and pass a series of trials. Tang San inherits the Sea God and the Asura God, while Qian Renxue becomes the Angel God. In Soul Land 2, Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong’er follow the same road.
