The secret of her sister Yao Mengyun
As children, Bingyun and her sister Yao Mengyun were chosen by the family to become the spirit of a treasure. In that moment Bingyun stepped back – and her sister was devoured by an ancient demon. That guilt followed her for centuries. She hunts Wang Lin not only on family orders but because she believes it might buy a chance to save her sister. This links directly to the family’s patriarch, the Blood Divine Son, who is secretly the remnant soul of that ancient demon.
Yao Bingyun vs Wang Lin
When the Yao family issues the Heavenly Dome Order against Wang Lin, Bingyun becomes one of his fiercest pursuers – Shrinking the Earth makes her terrifyingly fast. But Wang Lin is no easy prey: he counters with the Nine Extremes Soul-Damaging Formation together with Wang Yue, leaving her badly injured. She flees back to her family to recover. Episode 165’s trailer even shows Wang Lin “borrowing the wrath of Wang Yue” to strike back.
